Dialog: RSS Feeds
Feed Icon
The feed icon at the top left of each dialog can be used to display the App's menu. As well as the menu button. This is to allow the menu to be displayable on older versions of Android as well as more recent version.
Add Feed
Click the button in the header to add a feed to the list of feeds. A dialog will appear where the feed URL can be typed and then click the Add button. Rather than typing the feed URL, use the Android web browser to find the RSS feed page, then copy the URL, return to this App and paste it into the add feed dialog.
Remove Feed
Use the feed selection check boxes to select the feeds to remove. Then click the - button in the dialog header to remove the selected feeds. A dialog will appear to confirm the selected feeds are to be deleted.
Edit Feed
Press the feed to edit for a few seconds, and the edit feed dialog will be displayed. The original feed title will be shown at the top of the dialog, below that the feed title to display can be edited, and below that the feed URL can be edited. Click on Save to save the changes or Cancel to discard any changes made.
Refresh All Feeds
Click the refresh button in the dialog header to load the latest feed items for all of the feeds from the Internet.
Feed List
Below the dialog header is a scrollable list of the feeds which have been added. The title of a feed will display as the feed URL until it has been refreshed for the first time, at which point the title will be displayed as the feed title from the loaded feed data. Below each feed title is the publication date of the feed.
Total/Unread/Pinned
A summary of the items in the feed are displayed below the feed title. The total number of items currently in the feed; The number of feed items which have not been read yet; And the number of feed items which have been pinned by the user, so they do not expire from the feed.
HTML/Text
Some feeds are formatted in HTML, which provides a more pleasing look to the feed items. However, some feed providers use this as a way of placing adverts into RSS feed readers. If this is the case, a feed can be forced to display text only, to remove adverts or large images from appearing in the feed items.
Refresh Feed
An individual feed can be refreshed by clicking on the refresh button for the feed. The latest feed items will then be downloaded from the Internet.

WWW Link
The WWW button in the top right of the header will open the web site of the RRS feed, if the web site address has been provided in the feed data.
Feed Item List
The feed items are in a scrollable list below the dialog header. Below the title of each feed item is the feed item's author and the publication date of the feed item.
Pin Feed Item
A feed item can be pinned, so it does not expire from the list of feed items. Click on the padlock button to pin the feed item, and click again to unpin the feed item.
Unread/Ignore/Read/Updated
Click the button on the far right of the feed item to change the read status of the feed item. Un-colourd the button means the item is unread; Red means the item has been marked as ignored, this means the unread items count on the feed dialog will consider this item read, whilst being visibly clear to the user they have indicated no interest in the item; Green means the item has been read; Amber means the item has been updated during a feed download. Typically updates will refer to the full story linked to from the feed item, but may also refer to the feed item brief.

The WWW button in the top right of the header will open the web site of the RRS feed at the feed item, if the feed item's web site address has been provided in the feed data.
