PocketManga

Previously known as "Mango", PocketManga (Poma, for short) is a free, ad-supported app for Android designed to reading from websites like mangafox.com faster and more convenient. ‹Features› •Lots of sites PocketManga is compatible with various third-party websites including mangafox.com, mangable.com, and mangareader.com. Submanga.com is supported for spanish readers too. More are coming soon! •Speed (it's fast! really fast!) The PocketManga Service strips down HTML data before sending it to the phone, speeding up transfer times. Poma can load all 7,500 of mangafox.com's titles in just a few seconds, and without having to paginate! •Great UI No one likes to use ugly, poorly designed apps. That's why PocketManga was created with user interface design in mind from the start and features an attractive, easy-to-use UI. Plus, it works and looks great on tablets like the Samsung Galaxy S Tab and the Motorola Xoom too! •Offline Reading Save chapters to your device's SD card, then read them later whenever you want without an internet connection using the My Library feature. At work, at school, or even on a plane! •Advanced Favorites System Poma's awesome Favorites system lets you keep track of all of your favorites in one list, and offers lots of organization options like tagging, sorting, filtering, and search. Plus, Poma will automatically keep track of your reading progress for your favorites! •Notifications Never miss the latest chapter of your favorite titles! The Notifications feature will periodically check websites for new chapters and will let you know when a new chapter is available for you to read. It can even automatically saves new chapters to your SD card, so they're always ready to read when you are! •Awesome reader Since you'll be spending most of your time reading, Poma's Pagereader has lots of nifty features to make reading more enjoyable. With smooth scrolling, pinch zoom, swipe gesture controls, jump-to-page with preview thumbnails, and animations, PocketManga delivers a seamless reading experience that's as close as you can get to an actual tankobon. •Responsive support Every screen in the app features a "Send Feedback" menu option that lets you get in contact with me directly. French, German, Italian, Arabic, Russian, and Chinese sites will be added in the future! ‹Permissions› •READ PHONE STATE (under Phone Calls) is required by MobClix to display ads and is used to assign your device a login ID for the PocketManga Service. Though this permission also allows the app to determine when a call is coming through (hence the Phone Calls part of the description), this is not ever used. •READ SENSITIVE LOG DATA (under Personal Information) is used to send diagnostic data from the system log for troubleshooting problems. Since the system log is shared by all apps, this permission allows an app to potentially read sensitive data. PocketManga, however, ONLY reads data from the log that it has written itself. It is only ever sent when you go to Send Feedback and select "I'm having a problem", and you can view the data by going to Settings and Help >> Advanced Options >> Debug Log. --- Send us mail!
