This application calculates the vitamin K content of foods based on release 21 of the USDA National Nutrient Database for Standard Reference.
It is particularly useful for individuals on anticoagulant therapy who are taking Warfarin or its brand name counterparts (Coumadin®, Jantoven®, Marevan®, and Waran®), which interact with vitamin K.
Take this application on your phone to the grocery store and restaurants to plan menus and look up unfamiliar foods so that you can maintain a stable vitamin K intake.
