Journey planning, transport and traffic information in European cities.emiXer InTime is a mobile application providing easy access to multimodal journey planning, transport and traffic information while travelling in European cities.The provided information is based on data made available by the cities themselves.Developed within the European pilot project InTime www.intimeproject.eu it is currently available in six cities taking part in the InTime demonstration: Brno czech republic Bucharest Romania, Florence Italy, Munich Germany, Oslo Norway and Vienna Austria. Using emiXer InTime, you can plan your trip and navigate in any of the InTime cities, accessing dynamically updated information while travelling. For instance, you can plan a journey from your current position provided by your phone to a desired destination, look for parking around and know about free places, search for bus stops and check the timetable or the expected departure time for your bus, know about traffic alerts in the area.As data accessible through emiXer InTime are made available by the cities, they may be different, in terms of extent and details of information, from city to city.Overall, emiXer InTime provides two types of services:a LocationBased Services about Parking, Public Transport and Traffic information, including location of bus stops, transit times timetables, expected departures, number of places available at parking, possible traffic alerts. Information may be related to the actual position of the user or to any location address of interest in the area.b Multimodal Journey Planner service integrating public transport, car, bicycle and walking. The desired departure point, destination, preferred mode, date and time are set by the user.
