There are statistics to boost that statement just that I won’t be publishing them today. Or on the day you would like me to.
I said ‘entertainment’ which is basically,celebrity news,showbiz,arts and crafts,Television,radio,celeb scandals,music and events.
Ghafla’s notorious ubiquity is equal to Linda Ikeji’s in Nigeria,Red Pepper’s in Uganda and TMZ’s in the US.
It’s the default entertainment site for millions – even after many other formidable sites have cropped up and hastened to bite out a huge chunk of Ghafla’s prey by all means necessary.
It’s a dense jungle out here and only the savagest can survive but Ghafla has braved the worst of times,watched bloody battles get waged at her doorstep,fended off predators and emerged,unscathed,to fight a other day,hunt another day and keep the prey at all costs.
It’s a fight that needs the toughest claws and the sharpest fangs to win but shadowy clowns like Cyprian Nyakundi will never understand that with his cavalier understanding of just how this industry is supposed to work.
He could ramble on and pander a half-baked narrative of what he thinks Ghafla entails or is but he’ll never be more wrong,more out of step,more deluded.
Away from that,the gossip behemoth that is Ghafla continues to roar on and stride across the jungle like the omnipotent creature it is.
But why do masses – millions and millions – continue flocking to the website day after day after day? To get that daily fix? In a country heavily-saturated with suffocating so-called entertainment blogs? Five reasons,really.
