This simple tool enables data entry of some simple metrics to represent the current state of your Warehouse.
For example, by entering the number of pickers, the hours they work in a standard week along with overtime hours and the associated hourly cost. When we then add in the number of order lines picked in an hour with the target time saving in seconds the tool calculates the 'cost per second' of in-efficiency by not using Voice Picking technology which we know saves operators time in their physical activity.
The cost calculator is a simple way to see what the ROI might be across a site by implementing Voice Picking technology and represents this back in a number
of ways such as $ dollar amount across a year, lost days across a year, impact of FTE (full time equivalent employees) and 'picking overhead'.
