GeoEye Lite includes a multi-function camera for Android with a precision gyroscope magnetometer compass, 2-axis inclinometer, 3D GPS receiver, precision altimeter, precision magnetic interference meter, OpenStreetMap (OSM) with contour lines and much more. This combination makes the 3D Geo-AR Camera - GeoEye Lite app indispensable to the earth customer of your environment during outdoor activities such as sightseeing, hiking, ski touring, skiing, boating, flying, forestry, shipping, hunting, for surveyors, geologists, architects, Engineers and search and rescue teams around the world.

Choose from more than 2,000,000 GeoPlaces or any location directly from the built-in OpenStreetMap (OSM) to explore via Augmented Reality (AR) in the camera viewfinder or on your GeoPhoto / GeoImage. The absolute position also displays the distance and azimuth angle to the GeoPlace displayed.

With our GeoRadar, you can use the crosshair to aim at any location through the camera viewfinder and determine the distance, altitude, latitude, longitude, azimuth and elevation. As a special feature, the underlying height profile to the targeted location is displayed as a diagram.
GeoImage ©
The GeoImage displays any AR content at any time. This is possible because with a GeoImage all GeoData are stored invisibly together with the photo in a special format. The result is "memorable" images that timelessly and interactively reveal arbitrarily selected AR content.
GeoPhoto
GeoEye Lite lets you create geotagged photos directly from the app, with zoom factor and resolution supported by fastbuffered memory. In addition to geographic coordinates, the photo also visually stores the date, time, compass, horizon and elevation angle, GPS horizontal accuracy, camera angle of view, magnetic interference field, and satellite information.
OpenStreetMap (OSM)
To see your current geographic location with outdoor topographic contours (contour lines), roads, trails, markers, and much more, switch to the built-in OpenStreetMap (OSM) view. For every level of detail 11 different zoom levels are available. An optical funnel at your location will show you the current contents of the camera depending on the built-in precision gyroscope magnetometer compass. So you know what's visible in your camera.
The 3D Geo-AR Camera - GeoEye Lite app redefines Geo Augmented Reality (AR). The app has been optimized for speed and low power consumption despite demanding performance requirements. For the accuracy of the 3D model and the position and orientation determination innovative filter algorithms are used.
