První International Health Summit (IHS) se v Praze odehrál v roce 2004. Motivací pořadatelů byla a je snaha přinést do střední Evropy praktické zahraniční zkušenosti s novinkami v organizaci a financování zdravotních služeb a zasadit je do místních podmínek. Základní charakteristikou IHS je vysoká kvalita řečníků a ucelený, provázaný program. Tématy minulých ročníků byly například chronické nemoci, finanční výzvy stárnutí populace či inovativní modely poskytování zdravotní péče. K pořádání devátého ročníku nás motivoval úspěch osmého ročníku v roce 2016 (viz níže) a narůstající výzvy tradičnímu způsobu poskytování nemocniční péče a potřeba její restrukturalizace. Cílem Prague International Health Summit 2018, konference určené především pro manažery nemocnic a jiných zdravotnických zařízení, jejich zřizovatele či majitele, lékaře a sestry ve vedoucích postaveních, pracovníky zdravotních pojišťoven a veřejné správy stejně jako pro dodavatelské firmy, je inspirovat je ke změnám ve fungování jimi vedených organizací.
First International Health Summit (IHS) took place in Prague in 2004. The motivation for the organizers has been the effort to bring to Central Europe practical international experience with innovations in the organization and financing of health services and deliver them to local conditions. IHS is a fundamental characteristic of high quality speakers and a comprehensive, coherent program. The themes of the previous years were as chronic illness, financial challenges of an aging population and innovative models of health care delivery. For organizing the ninth edition of our success we have motivated the eighth grade in 2016 (see below) and the increasing challenges the traditional way of providing hospital care and the need for its restructuring. The aim of the Prague International Health Summit 2018 conference designed especially for managers of hospitals and other medical facilities, their founder or owner, doctors and nurses, managers, employees of health insurance companies and public administration as well as for suppliers, to inspire them to changes in the functioning of their led organizations.
