Pterídium aquilínum ) - a perennial herbaceous fern kind kind Orlyak family dennstaedtiaceae on the folded edge of the leaf and the longitudinal row indoor sporangia easily distinguishable from other ferns. One of the most common and large ferns in Russia and neighboring countries.
The name of the fern was because the vascular bundles in the rhizome are arranged in such a way that the cross-section represent some semblance of the state eagle sometimes the vascular bundles in the cross section are, as it were the initials of the name of Jesus Christ why Orlyak also called Jesus the grass.
Orlyak is widely distributed found throughout the globe except in arctic regions steppes and deserts. In Russia it grows in the European part Siberia and the Far East in the Urals.
