BloodPORT, a Web+App based Tech Start-up, connects people in need of blood with blood donors, blood banks, hospitals and blood donation camps and healthcare events nearby.
BloodPORT intend to be the trusted partner for Blood-related healthcare in India, disrupting healthcare in a massive way and making it understandable, affordable and accessible to consumers. Hence, we are not just a social app for Medical emergency and allows users to reach out to the nearest blood bank and get voluntary blood donors during emergencies too. We envision a 'Blood Grid' throughout INDIA and aim to eliminate the acute shortage of blood by 2020.
Connect to the donors by a single click or we can also contact to any blood bank instantly. We identify the active blood donors in two ways, one by their current location using GPS [Google maps], we keep user Privacy and Security paramount. Apart from this, Blood bank and Hospital's blood inventory stock is displayed in real time to help users in distress Book Blood. This feature enables users to book and get blood online delivery as well, without themselves going to the Blood banks from the Hospitals at odd hours leaving behind a loved one in distress just to check availability.
