BDF’s success story begins in 1977. Present time’s one of the most successful businessmen from south Chhattisgarh Mr. Mohammad Afzal Nagaria from Jagdalpur city bought two cows for his family use in 1977 with a desire to drink pure milk. His age was 15 at that time. In those days he never thought that he will be part of dairy business which will employ more than 500 people and also spread to other states. This is the story in brief of Mr Mohammad Afzal Nagaria who was born in 1962.
With those two cows, his family used to get enough milk and rest of the milk he either distributed/sold to his neighbors.
Slowly he got interest in this business and as the years passed by, he started the Dairy Farm House in Nakti Semra in the year 1990 with 20 cows and 4 acres of land. This proved to be a corner stone of his successful business journey. He named it as Bastar Dairy Farm (BDF). The business environment was challenging at that time. But the dedication, hard work, honesty, maintaining quality and long vision are important attributes of BDF founder which kept the business flourishing. For BDF the loving people of Chhattisgarh are like own family members. So serving them with best milk and milk products is like serving his own family members.
Mr Afzal’s two Nephews Mr Gulzar and Mr Imran also started contributing to business. For the packaging of milk, automatic plants were established. This plant produces 5000 milk packets per day. In coming times BDF is planning to produce more than 20,000 milk packets per day. Milk is procured from own dairy farm and from villages.
BDF continues to put effort intensively in technologically advanced production facilities while recruiting high-caliber people with the skills and experience to optimize their business output. The retail business’s reach, demand, market and popularity are increasing day by day. BDF has become a trusted name in Chhattisgarh.
