Publiko is a website that collects public issues and concerns of the Philippines. It enables citizens to submit and upvote topics that can be addressed by the government. This is a platform that will enable election candidates to provide comments or describe actions that they would take on topics and concerns that the public are interested in.
Citizens continuously submit and upvote topics. Once a week the Top Topics will be selected by the website administrators. The selected top issues will appear in the Publiko Candidate Reaction App. The candidate user may select an issue to react to. Using the mobile app the user will be able to record a 60 second selfie-video which they may submit to the Publiko server.
The video file will be reviewed by the Publiko administrators then will be uploaded to youtube without any editing. Then the youtube video link will be embedded to the related topic page.
