“SAUR-SHAKTI” a mobile app provided by ICAR-Research Complex for Eastern region is for illustrative purpose only which assist farmers, scientist and development officers in selection appropriate size of the solar pump on the basis of cropped area, crop water use, source of water and irrigation systems to be used in the field. The app has in-built data for Bihar and Jharkhand districts. Users from other states need to provide data on water table, drawdown and depths of open well
to work out the appropriate size of the pump.
