Read and update your GM VIN with an ELM327 compatible device purchased separately from many online retailers.
Currently supports GMs with the VPW protocol. These would be your vehicles usually between 1996-2005. Starting in 2004 vehicles started to use CAN protocol which support for will be coming soon!

There are MANY ELM327 adapters sold online. Majority of these are China clones.
While these have been tested against and worked, there may be times it may not work properly as they don't incorporate strict ELM327 quality control.

Added ability for WIFI connected ELM327 devices.
This only works on Android devices that have the ability for ADHOC connections.
ADHOC may not be supported by your device as most OEM does not support it out of the box.
