Now never miss the location of your family, friends or anybody having this app installed. Fetching current location consumes battery and data and this is where the KahanHo app outshines others. It will only fetch the location when required thereby making it most suitable for letting it run on the background. Of course you will choose with whom you want to share your location.
Typically when you are interested in knowing anybody's location, you want to talk to them and ask- KahanHo(Where are you?). However when callee misses your call, KahanHo app will send an SMS to you with their current location. E.g. parents can install this app on child's phone and rely on the app to auto respond if they are not able to talk to the child.
Usage:
KahanHo is designed in mind for simplicity and performance. There is no need to any signup, registration, etc. Just go to Android Location Settings and ensure location sharing for apps is turned on. For Android 6 and above, go to Settings, select KahanHo app, and grant the permissions. Now open KahanHo app, enter the phone number of the caller (or choose from the call log) and turn tracking on. You don't need to keep GPS on for this app to work.

Q How will it work if GPS is turned off?
A While GPS gives the most accurate location, when GPS is not turned on, it will rely on Cell Tower location data. This location is not as accurate as GPS location.
Q How much it costs?
A Your Mobile carrier charges will apply for outgoing SMS. There will also be a data communication between your phone and Google servers. This is a very lightweight data usage though. App is completely free to use.
Q Is my location sent to any other person or machine?
A No. Unlike other apps to monitor and share your location, this app will only send your location to the registered caller. It will also not store it anywhere.
Q How much battery will drain?
A Minimal. You can let it run in the background. GPS and Data are not required to be kept turned on to use it.
Q Will it work without Mobile Data turned on?
A On Android 4.X versions, app will work without Mobile Data being on. App will try to turn data on, and turn it off when not required. On higher Android versions, Mobile Data is required to be turned on. Work is in progress to improve the app further.
