Terminology:
Tracker->A caller who is interested in knowing another person's location.
Trackee->A person who is interested in sharing current location with the Tracker.
Tracker need not to be an Android user. This app is to be installed only on the Trackee phone.
Purpose:
When Tracker is interested in knowing Trackee location, first and most reliable option is to talk directly to Trackee and ask the simple question- KahanHo(Where are you?). However when Trackee misses Tracker call, Trackee phone will send an SMS to the Tracker with Trackee's current location. E.g. parents can install this app on child's phone and rely on the app to auto respond if they are not able to talk to the child.
Usage:
KahanHo is designed in mind for simplicity. Trackee needs to just enter the phone number of the Tracker and turn tracking on. You don't need to keep Data or WiFi or GPS on for this app to work.
How it works:
Upon missing a call from registered Tracker, KahanHo will turn on Data if it was turned Off. It will wait for location update from Android system. Location data will contain current latitude and longitude. Data will come from GPS(if turned on) or Mobile Data. It will then be sent to Google Maps API to convert into street address. The address is then sent to Tracker through SMS. Mobile Data is turned off again if it was turned on by this app.

Q How will it work if GPS is turned off?
A While GPS gives the most accurate location, when GPS is not turned on, it will rely on Cell Tower location data. This location is not as accurate as GPS location.
Q How much it costs?
A Your Mobile carrier charges will apply for outgoing SMS. There will also be a data communication between your phone and Google servers. This is a very lightweight data usage though. App is completely free to use.
Q Is my location sent to any other person or machine?
A No. Unlike other apps to monitor and share your location, this app will only send your location to the registered Tracker. It will also not store it anywhere.
