DERE EVIL EXE is both a terrifying thriller with a gripping story and an unorthodox retro platformer with unique puzzles and obstacles.
In DERE EVIL EXE, you step into the tiny shoes of a silent hero named 'Knightly'. Knightly must jump, run, and manipulate environments in order to survive the heart-racing journey through a stunning pixel art world.
Within surreal structures lurk dangerous creatures known as 'corruptions'. They take the form of their creator's greatest fears. Their creepy creator, sporting a cunning visage of cheerfulness, hides in plain sight as she watches her prey fall deeper into her traps.

  Alot of people are complaining about the scarcity of checkpoints and how hard the obstacles are, but that's the fun of the game. It's supposed to be hard you dimwits. Three stars because I think we should get alot more lives before ads since we die alot.

  Even though the levels are frustrating, and constant ads popping up after few deaths, I still find the game enjoyable. I encountered a bug tho but I manage to beat it anyway. It's fun. I recommend you to try it out yourself. This game is indeed a masterpiece.

  It's okay, but some of it in the beginning is way too hard, I refuse to rage quit cause it has my curiosity, but bad game, plus they've been waiting to release it for 21 years!!

  Dude, these AppSir games are so much fun. I think I'm gonna go ahead and play them all. They are hard. But they never feel unfair. I really enjoy the platformer mixed with storytelling aspect of these games. Very good game.

  I think this would work better as a random platformer game like doki doki literature club or undertale and subverts expectations instead of show itself in everything it is, but otherwise very nice.

  It's so challenging and so smooth almost no loading screens and I love it. I'm at Lv. 4 (last Lv.) the game isn't too scary but still really enjoyable. Will update the review after I've finished the game. It's amazing so far. Update: The ending was confusing and had a lot of weird and confusing dialogues. The game is short but difficult and I liked it. 5 stars!!
