Earn a point for each right answer as you progress through the syllabary.

Race against the clock to secure the fastest time in each configuration.
CATEGORIES (3)
1) Basic
46 foundational characters which all variants and combinations are derived from.
2) Variants
25 additional sounds that are created by modifying a subset of the basic characters.
3) Combinations
33 additional sounds that are created by combining various characters.
INPUT MODES (2)
1) Multiple Choice
Select the correct reading from a group of choices.
2) Keyboard Entry
Enter the correct reading via an on-screen keyboard.

  I wish I could give this app more than a 5. I tried out the app with barely any knowledge on katakana at all since the hiragana version helped me out a lot. Turns out that I learned every kana in less than an hour. Really recommend this app and the hiragana one for people who wanna learn japanese. Now just a little more time then kanji.

  It's simple, it's good for practising, but it only has a mode of picking or writing the romanji pronunciation of the character, which means you don't get to practice writing the katakana characters in this app.

  simple and effective but I wish the complete range of katakana syllables were included. I couldn't find how to practice "po" or "Sha" for example.

  Great for memorizing katakana I studied it again and again and again till I memorized all the katakana... it's a great app for people who wants to learn some japanese. Thanks to katakana pro. I appreciate it.

  This app was very helpful. I memorized all katakana characters in a day. Not everyone may be able to accomplish that, but give this app a try. It's really effective and I enjoyed it.

  This app is astounding, I've been using it for only an hour, and with a bit of mnemotic techniques, and memorization, I know the full Katakana kanas! Really easy to pick up, and it has a full alphabet catalog + a side to explain how combos and voiced kanas work. Even for free, it's a super cool app! So I might support the dev, because he did a great great job.
