In 2004, the CV Advisors team embarked on the development of the software platform that would eventually become VIEWS. The Firm's investment team worked side by side with several programmers to develop pragmatic, customized tools that allow the Firm to:
Capture and share qualitative manager information;
Efficiently source and screen managers;
Manage fund of hedge fund portfolios;
Analyze complex statistical relationships between managers and risk factors;
Evaluate portfolio and manager sensitivities and evaluate tail risks, and
Create pro-forma series, stress test managers and portfolios.
