Box breathing: In this breathing technique, you inhale, hold, exhale, and then hold again, each for a fixed duration of time.
4-7-8 breathing: As the name suggests, with this breathing technique you inhale for 4 seconds, hold you breath for 7 seconds, and exhale for 8 seconds. This will help reduce anxiety and provide insomnia relief. Try doing this while trying to sleep and you'll fall asleep in no time!
Equal breathing: In this breathing technique, your exhale duration will be equal to the inhale duration. This will help keep you calm during stressful situations. Additionally, this exercise is tuned into resonant frequency (3-7 breaths per minute) which has shown to improve symptoms of conditions such as Asthma, COPD, Fibromyalgia, and IBS.
