Blending these therapies together specifically to treat an individual issue.
All of the above techniques and coping strategies support a 30-step programme that includes a graded exposure process, thought and emotion tracking and progress charts.
Calmer Sea is a constant companion throughout the self-improvement process and for when times become more stressful - the home screen contains permanent quick access buttons that deliver breathing and relaxation exercises immediately, helping the user to take control of a situation at the onset of the anxiety.
Calmer Sea is very effective when used purely on its own as a self-help programme, however, the app also enables the user to discuss their progress with their GP or therapist so that together they are able to identify triggers, spikes or trends to emotions and behaviours, helping them to decide what works best for that individual.
